The Profit-with-Purpose Africa Conference seeks to improve the knowledge of emerging global practices, methodologies, and tools to transform businesses into tools for social change and deconstruct the myth of social good being the exclusive reserve of philanthropies and social sector players. The Annual Conference will be the rallying point for cooperation on commercially sustainable models for accelerating sustainable development through social innovation and investment that are responsive, responsive, scalable, and commercially viable.

Event Structure

Plenary Session: There will be 2 plenary sessions each day – (1) opening plenary which will comprise key presentations followed by audience-driven, moderator-facilitated question and answer sessions, and (2) Closing Plenary in the form of fireside chats using a blend of moderator-led questioning.

Technical Sessions: During this session, participants will dive deep into the sectors/subjects that matter most to them. There will be 2 rounds of thematic sessions – A Morning Session focused on cross-cutting themes related to the topic delivered at plenary, and an Afternoon Session focused on economic sector verticals with sessions which may be delivered concurrently. Each session will span about 50 minutes including a lead presentation (10 minutes), panel discussions (30 minutes) and Q&A (10 minutes).
